On Monday, May 13, City Hall will begin new lobby hours of 8:30-4:30, Monday thru Friday.
Our change in hours is due to changes in our operations dealing with customer transactions and how we update various software systems during the day. The change in hours will also allow City Hall staff to ensure daily work from the previous day or the current day is in order and correct before processing.
How will this affect access to City Hal? City Hall doors will be set to open at 8:30 each morning and lock at 4:30 each day.
Does this affect payments on your utility or DiamondNet accounts?
Yes. Payment cutoff times for those paying in person at City Hall will change to 4:30 pm. We will still offer additional services allowing customers to pay online through our website, as well as our payment drop box located in front of City Hall. We encourage our customers to take advantage of our online payment options for both utilities and DiamondNet.
Does this affect the payment drop box?
Yes. In order for payments to be posted on the current day, payments must be placed in the drop box by 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. The drop box in front of City Hall will still be available 24 hours per day.
How will phone systems be affected?
Phones will be answered from 8:30 to 4:30.
