CITY OF SALLISAW UTILITY RATE INFORMATION
ELECTRIC RATE INFORMATION
September 14, 2020 Approved Rate Adjustments. Resolution 2020-32 was approved on September 14, 2020 by the Board of City Commissioners adjusting electric rates in the City of Sallisaw. These changes were made after an extensive and thorough Electric Cost of Service Study, recently completed by city staff and its rate consultant. As approved, the City of Sallisaw will embark on a five-year plan of rate adjustments, with each adjustment being implemented during the month of November through 2024. The first adjustment will be reflected on billing statements calculated after November 1, 2020.

The City of Sallisaw continues to monitor the COVID-19 virus event. Below you will find information from local, state and federal agencies related to the event.
In response to the current COVID-19 event, the City of Sallisaw will be closing city hall to the public as of 2:00 pm, Friday March 20, 2020. This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the public and city hall employees. Closing of city hall will be evaluated on a day to day basis up through April 6, 2020.
